HOT THERAPY
When heated up the gel packs can be used for hot therapy to stimulate healing for damaged tissues, relieve muscle spasm, as well as ease stiffness in joints and muscles. Hot therapy soothes aches and pains by increasing blood flow and suppleness of muscles and joints. It is also useful for people with arthritis or rheumatism

Note:
Do not use hot therapy on open wounds, bruised or swollen areas

COLD THERAPY
When frozen, the gel packs can be used for cold therapy to treat sudden injuries such as inflammation, sprains and muscle tears. Cold therapy works by constricting blood vessels and reducing blood flow around the injured area; this will minimize swelling. It also reduces pain by numbing the area around the injury.

Note:
Cold therapy may not be suitable for people with diabetes and people unable to feel certain sensation. Check with your doctor.
